Robbie Maffucci is a senior at Boston College pursuing a B.A. in Economics alongside minors in finance and photography. Much of his work focuses on coastal environments, where he documents the tension between natural landscapes and human impacts in these areas. His images highlight themes of coastal sprawl, environmental strain, and economic disparity - all of which are exacerbated during the winter off-season. Working in a documentary style, his work seeks to not only record, but to question how places are represented and understood.
